Meditation means Awareness.
Whatever you do with Awareness can be considered Meditation.
Watching our breath ; Listening to the birds . playing with a musical instrument
As long as these activities are free from any other distraction to the mind,
it can be effectively considered meditation.
Meditation is not a technique but a way of life.
Meditation means 'a cessation of the thought process' .
It describes a state of consciousness, when the mind is free of scattered thoughts and
various activity patterns . The observer (one who is doing meditation)
realizes that all the activity of the mind is reduced to one.

The practice of Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the practice of touching Life
deeply in every moment of daily life;
while we are sitting, walking, eating, drinking tea and even working.
When we are practicing mindfulness,
our mind does not hang on to the past nor worry about the future;
instead, it is fully conscious of what is happening in the present moment.
Every step taken in mindfulness
cultivates peace and joy within and around us,
as we free ourselves from our fears, anxieties, anger and confusion.
Living deeply is possible any time;
we just have to make ourselves available to
the wonders of the present moment.
